Today is the first game for the BYU Cougars! They are playing in Provo against Northern Iowa. Jeff is really excited because he bought season tickets so he'll be driving down to the games! I didn't think that buying tickets would be the best investment for me this year, considering I'd have to leave every 20 minutes to go to the bathroom and would definitely miss some games after the baby is born! I love Cougar Football, it's legacy, and what the team (including Bronco Mendenhall) stand for. The games and the excitement they bring is one of the things I will miss about being a student and living in Provo. It was always so much fun going to the games year after year with my friends, roommates, and then my husband. I even taught my 2nd graders last year the fight song. Hmmm, maybe my first graders could learn it too!GOOOOOO COUGARS!!!!!!

The blanket is one of the best things we have purchased for our newborns. I highly suggest it. Its a swaddling blanket called "The Miracle Blanket" Its been a life saver and provided us with so many more hours of sleep then without it. First off, you have to believe in swaddling, which we do. Ella fought it for a few days as a newborn but ended up loving it and sleeping many more long hours with it.

Every time I click on your blog I get the Cougar fight song stuck in my head! That was how my mom woke me up every morning growing up.. ahhhh!! My children are definitely doomed to hear the same "get out of bed" song! :)
I think our class needs to learn it!! Go Cougars!!!
