While I was in Florida, it was Jeff's assignment to find us an apartment in the Davis County area as our contract here in Provo is up at the end of this month. I'm pleased to report he has completed his assignment, and we are moving in less than 2 weeks! Our new apartment has 2 bedrooms and has washer and dryer hookups (both of those were requirements for me for a new place, with a baby coming and all). We are excited about the upgrade from our tiny 1 bedroom we've lived in since we got married.
We only planning on living there while we find a place to buy. By the way, that's another thing going on with us. We are in the market to buy; our first choice is a duplex to live in one unit and rent out the other. We are also looking into single family homes though.
Also, I was just informed Jeff found us a washer and dryer for our new place at a great price. YAY! For the first time in 5 years I won't be hauling laundry back and forth across an apartment complex, worrying about having enough quarters, which machines work and which don't, etc. Way to go Jeff!

Argh...don't get me started...we use to have a beautiful, brand new, front load washer and dryer at our house in Utah. We still have them, but in our temporary housing in Michigan, there are no hookups, so they are sitting in the 'guest bedroom', unused. But the good news is that they are breaking ground on our house this week!
The only nice thing about coin-up laundry is being able to do 3 loads at once...but then the folding pile is so big and daunting that it never gets done...guess it's not that nice after all.

You were brave to give Jeff the assignment to find and apartment without you. Sounds like he did awesome, as usual, though!
Yes, having a washer and dryer in-house with a baby is sooooooo nice. The laundry load with a little one is enormous.
