December Delight

December was very busy but VERY fun.  We started things off by attending the annual Yoho Christmas/Gingerbread House Making party....

Becca was thoroughly enjoying a Fat Boy ice cream sandwich.  Jeff's brother and cousin thought it would be funny to tell her to use her ice cream covered hands to show where her belly was and the bow in her hair, so she was absolutely covered in ice cream!

 

We finally went to see the lights on Temple Square after a yummy dinner at Hires.  Can't remember the last time I went, but I know it was before we had Alayna.  Even though it was very crowded, it was a good experience and fun for the girls.

 Alayna went to the dentist and had another great visit.  She's a very good sport.  

The Yoho cousins went on their annual trip on the Polar Express with Papa and Gram.  Each year they get new pajamas and go on the magical train ride, then go to the cabin or to Papa and Gram's for a sleepover.  Becca hung out with mom and dad, but she will get to go next year!

Christmas Eve

 Christmas morning before the girls woke up, we had to take a few pictures of what Santa brought.  becca woke up at 6:30 as usual, so we had to keep her in our room for a bit to let Alayna sleep a little longer.  They must have been good girls, because Santa brought them their own princess fish tank for their bedroom!  Complete with pink gravel, castle, and carriage.

 Daddy helped Becca open her gifts, but she got the unwrapping part down pretty well!

A couple days after Christmas, we packed up to go to the cabin to stay through New Years.  Alayna go to go on her first snowmobile ride.  Daddy said she did awesome and never complained!  They both had a great time and daddy is glad to have a new snowmobile buddy.

The next day we bundled up to go sledding.  Becca was also a great sport to hang out with us, especially since she didn't actually sled at all.

 She was content to ride on the 4 wheeler helping Scotty pull kids up the hill, and then snuggle in a blanket with daddy.
