Today my baby is 9 months old! It seems like I write these monthly posts on her progress way more than every month (aka, the time is flying!) Alayna was supposed to have her 9 mo checkup on Tuesday morning, but since we didn't get home from FL Monday night as planned (story for another day), we had to reschedule for next week. Here are some fun things she does:
-Plays peekaboo...it's so much fun! She'll cover her face with a blanket and wait for you to react. Then she'll pull it down and giggle!
-Says mama (actually has for about a month), and is getting so close to baba (bottle) and dada
-go from sitting to standing up alone for several seconds
-claps her hands
-her hair is so long that if I don't do it, it looks messy. It is also coming in very blonde!
-Her 2 bottom front teeth are in!
-She loves her sippy cup and has become pretty good at drinking water from it!
-She crawls lightning fast! She will follow us around the house now and we have to keep close tabs on her!
