Now that May is almost over, I guess it's at least time to blog about April! We spent General Conference Weekend at the cabin. It was a great weekend, as always, with great messages. Becca was put in "the jumper" which was given to my mother in law before she had her first baby. Babies love it, and Becca liked being on her feet. The cute bunny ears were given to her by Jeff's aunt Karen. Also shown above, we had Alayna's cousins Shane (11) and Krysten (almost 9) over for 3 days while their parents were in Vegas. The last night with us, we took them to Trafalga for 3.5 hours. We stayed there till 10:30pm! We played mini golf, bowling, and lots of arcade games. Our kids didn't get to bed till 11:30 (I know, what great parents we are), and they were exhausted, as illustrated in the picture.

Papa Yoho made us this beautiful 9-cubby shelf for our living room. Isn't it beautiful? I love the way it turned out. He is so talented. And this is what Alayna did immediately upon set up.

Alayna had a gymnastics performance so family and friends could come see what they do in gymnastics. She ate up all the attention and was SO excited to have Papa, Gram, Nana, Grandpa, Mommy, and Daddy all there to watch her! She also loved the medal she got at the end.

She had a REALLY hard time waiting till it was her turn!

My friend Lisa also invited us to go to the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival with her kids. They always to such a beautiful job with the flowers. We weren't there for optimal picture-taking hours, but it was still a beautiful day!

Becca grabbed on to one of the tulips while I was taking her picture! Pretty good grip, too!

Alayna kept having a really cheesy, weird smile that day or I would have much better pictures!

I just like this picture of Becca..she seems to be thinking "what are you doing, mom??"

These kids are good buddies and play well together. Ben, Alayna, and Ellie. All are in our ward.
Easter 2012

Easter was so much fun with Alayna. She freaked out about everything: finding her basket in the morning, the candy, the egg hunt...it was great! Too bad we had to rush through everything to make it to church in time (9am)!

Other April Happenings:
My brother, Keith, graduated from UVU! We went to the University Commencement and the guest speaker was Erin Gruwell (as in Freedom Writers). Very inspiring. Way to go, Keith!
Becca: had a busy April! 2 teeth, sitting up, and crawling by mid-April.
Kendra: took a couple weeks off after the 10k, then got into training for a half-marathon
Jeff: lost about 15 pounds since New Years. Doing it the right way: slow and consistent. Exercise, portion control, calorie counting. So proud of him.
Alayna: starting to read -at words, sassy as ever
